Job Responsibility Performs diversified clerical duties which may include, but are not limited to:
Typing correspondence, forms, papers, etc.
Receptionist duties Sorting and filing Photocopying Answering phones, taking messages Faxing Handling petty cash Keeping inventory and ordering of office supplies Logging/recording of information Distributing and retrieving reports, data, etc.
Maintaining a variety of records, books, etc.
Maintaining statistical data/billing reports, etc.
Miscellaneous duties related to department Performs related duties, as required.
ADA Essential Functions Job Qualification High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
Prior clerical experience, required.
Typing 30 wpm, required.
Ability to input data to computerized system, required.
Ability to communicate effectively.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
